SALE & CLOSING PROCEDURES:
Maryland REO connection aggressively monitors the sales contract time lines to be sure that all contingencies are released and/or compiled with in a timely manner. The Asset Manager is advised and notified if problems develop that may delay the closing.
- Present and negotiate multiple offers and advise the asset manager when more than one offer is anticipated so as to assist in strategizing responses in a manner that will allow for the highest sale amount.
- Potential purchasers are pre-qualified before an offer is presented.
- Submit accepted contract w/required addendums.
- Coordinate w/closing agency for timely HUD1 approval. (we understand that a property is not sold until the HUDS are signed and the monies are funded)
- Attend final closing.
